    • A reliable psychological report depends on evidence-based psychological assessment. This uses standardized psychological tests to arrive at some diagnosis about a person, couples, or group of persons. Psychological testing is always performed by a licensed and certified psychologist, and we are proud to have a handful of them. They are well-trained to administer and interpret psychological tests. Our psychological assessments and psychological reports are in various dimensions. These include medico-legal report, full psychological report, and short assessment. Psychological tests are a branch of the field of psychology known as psychometrics. Psychometrics measures behavior, personality, and aptitude using questionnaires standardized to scales based on some statistical protocols. What is a Medico-legal Report? People need medico-legal reports and psychological/psychiatric assessments for a variety of reasons. If, for instance, someone has been badly affected by an accident, or workplace negligence, or whatever, and it is not enough for them to simply appear in court and state that they have suffered since the event. Hence, the report serves as an expert witness that testifies about the symptoms they are experiencing, and the impact on their lives. What should I expect during a psychological assessment? Self-report questions that ask you to think about specific types of interactions. Oral intake interview. Physical observation to visually assess behavioral responses and mental status. What are my roles during psychological assessment? Free and sincere mindset. Don’t express positive bias when examining your behavior. In other words, answer questions as honestly as possible. Focus on answering questions based upon what you actually think and do, not based upon what you wish you did or hope other people think you do. What is the Report turnaround? Approximately 2 weeks, we can also produce reports within 2 days in emergency cases. What is Full Reports & Psychological Assessment? This includes about two hours of psychological assessment.
