I am a bilingual (French and English) Counselling and Educational Psychologist. A Lecturer and researcher at the University of Calabar, Nigeria; with research interest in behaviour modification, Developmental psychology, inclusive learning, gender equality, emotional intelligence, among others. I have published over 25 articles in reputable academic journals. With over 20 years of experience in the educational sector, a PhD in Educational Psychology and having worked at all levels of education and in various capacities; including Director of academic planning, Deputy Provost Academics etc I am poised to provide expert consultancy services on maximizing the teaching learning process, discipline, creativity, inclusiveness etc. Having earned a Masters in Counseling psychology and over 40 expert certificates in clinical psychology from reputable Universities, I am equiped to help you deal with your mental health challenges and also diagnose and treat developmental disorders like dyslexia and ADHD and other disorders like depression, insomnia, anxiety disorders; using CBT, Mindfulness, DBT and other neuroscience based interventions. I am a Trauma responsive Psychotherapist. I helped over 100 Gender Based Violence survivors work through their trauma and reintegrate into society through the Gender Based Violence Centre at the Ministry of Women Affairs Calabar, Nigeria where I volunteer as a technical support staff/psychotherapist. I am a CPD certified CPD trainer, serve as a Psychosocial support/trauma trainer to over 10 reputable organizations including UNFPA, Calabar office, Gender And Development Action (GADA) and have facilitated trainings for different groups such as the Police, Nigeria Society for Civil Defence Corps; civil society organisations, school counselors etc. I am also a certified teachers' trainer and provide Continuing Professional Development Training for in-service teachers. I am also a development planner and served as a Quality Control Expert on the Kwara State 10 year Sustainable Development Plan launched in 2021. I was part of the team of experts that drafted the Standard Operating Procedures on Gender Based Violence 2022 and the 2022-2026 Gender Strategic Plan for Cross River State. I am a published author of three Book and a public speaker on Gender Based Violence, mental health, psychological issues, values and motivation.
